Meritor Automatic Slack Adjusters

The Meritor Genuine stroke sensing design keep brakes in constant alignment. Designed and manufactured with high strength gears and components for long life. Brake maintenance is reduced and vehicle inspections measuring chamber stroke are in compliance. The slack adjusters can be ordered with the R810019 clevis (5/8” X 18) or other size as needed. They may also be ordered without a clevis and a separate clevis kit to fit the specific application. The choice of handed or unhanded refers to the location of the adjustment pawl. Unhanded has the pawl in line with the chamber stroke. Handed has them located on the side of the slack adjuster. This allows selection based on accessibility of the pawl during maintenance.
